🌳 Curiosity and play as my north star

Figuring out what you want to do is hard. Add on the fact that technological advances each day make committing to a single path feel like building a house on jelly. Everything feels like it's moving too fast, but it was never about the race.

I believe, we spend too much of our time working to not have fun. Because fun is the differentiator against the others. If you're having fun, it's going to be much easier and enjoyable for you than somebody else who treats the work like, well, work. And who doesn't like fun, you bore.

The fastest way to understand my curiosities was by looking at the content that I consume - articles, books and podcasts. What makes me draw in closer? Put me in flow state? Ask further questions? These are the threads of inspiration that push my work forward.

Right now, I'm thinking about:

Play

If curiosity is about input, then play is about output. It sounds like something just for children, but who said play had to stop when we 'grow up'. What started out as a search for little joys to break up the monotony of a work week has expanded to pull me towards a world of possibility. To me, playing opens a window of opportunity to try without fear of failure and create without reason.

Here's what I'm creating:
